The CARE-North Final Conference focused on “Carbon responsible Transport”. Organised by the city of Bremen in collaboration with ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability from 20-21 March 2012, the conference looked at the evolving role of low carbon transport solutions such as bicycle, walking and collective transportation, and addressed the importance of behavior change and limiting road space as key element to meet the Co₂ reduction targets.

Practitioners and researchers alike benefitted from engaging discussions. The wealth of ideas and suggestions channelled into the panel discussion  where the CARE-North Message to Rio+20 was released and commented upon.
