E-Mobility - German VDE certifies first e-charging device

German VDE institute* certifies first e-charging device (cable and plug) for electric cars in VDE automotive test centre in Offenbach (Germany). The charging cable and the infrastructure socket by Mennekes Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG  passed assessment and received VDE seal of approval.
