The Robert Gordon University is a research informed modern institute, committed to undertaking world-leading applied research. The University aims to undertake research which informs society, and leads to positive changes in society and the environment. The research team at RGU is drawn from The Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and the Built Environment, and Aberdeen Business School.

The team has a successful track record of research regarding transport policy, community engagement in design, and the use of innovative methods to encourage user participation in architecture and planning or public space. They will draw on that expertise to develop innovative methodologies leading to meaningful conclusions and policy recommendations.
